ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an expanding chemical plant in the greater Louisville area. This small-to-medium manufacturing site offers varied assignments and direct involvement as additional production capacity comes online.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Optimize and update the site DCS and related instrumentation.
• Develop improvement plans for instrumentation and control systems.
• Support the site’s instrument and electrical systems.
• Manage projects that upgrade DCS, instrumentation and electrical systems.
• Maintain and improve the reliability of DCS, instrumentation and electrical-distribution equipment.
• Support plant maintenance shutdowns.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Two or more years of project-engineering experience.
• Chemical manufacturing or comparable process-industry experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple technical priorities in a hands-on plant environment.
