ABOUT THE ROLE

Provide instrumentation and electrical-engineering support to a busy chemical plant that is upgrading its DCS, related control systems, and electrical infrastructure. The company is seeking an electrical engineer who can manage capital projects and provide hands-on plant support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage instrumentation and electrical projects from start to finish.
• Lead capital projects through basic engineering, detailed design, execution, and commissioning.
• Support maintenance with DCS upgrades and SIS/DCS testing.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and electrical equipment.
• Oversee contractors while remaining capable of hands-on execution.
• Build strong relationships with plant maintenance teams and outside engineering vendors.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Four or more years of chemical-plant, refinery, or closely related manufacturing experience.
• Instrumentation, electrical, and control-system experience.
• DCS and SIS experience preferred.

WORK SCHEDULE & BENEFITS

• 9/80 schedule with strong profit sharing.
