Provide process/production engineering support to a chemical plant. You will provide day-to-day support and optimization support to the daily operations of the plant. Excellent opportunities to get cross-trained in the logistics side of the business and the quality and customer technical service side too. Cross-training will increase your opportunities for long-term career advancement at the site. There is a good path to Operations Management. This is a great opportunity to learn the process and the business. Low bureaucracy at this non-union site.
- Troubleshoot and optimize the daily operations of the process
- Identify and manage improvement projects
- Support maintenance and backfill for operations leadership
- Understand various formulations for the products
- Interact with R&D and Quality and the Lab
